Youth from Bethel and St. John’s partnered together for the Quake in Wisconsin Dells February 14-16. Together there were 8 youth and three adult chaperones participating in our group. The Quake staff informed those participating that every registered participant was in attendance for the event for a total of over 750 youth participants!
Our group was able to meet and interact with all of the members of the praise band 100 White Flags, as well as the event speaker Wes Halula, and even invited Steven Wagner the Awaken Project Director to breakfast. The Awaken Project is for those who are interested in taking part in a “Gap Year” between high school and college to help students develop discipleship skills by living together in an intentional community and centering their lives around the daily study of scripture, corporate prayer, consistent service, cross country travel, and infectious joy.
