YWCA of the Sauk Valley

The YWCA has been designated by the Congregation Council to receive the Special Offerings for June. It is difficult for most of us to envision a life where vulnerability is a way of life. However, to the clients serviced by the YWCA, poverty, unsafe living conditions, a lack of reliable childcare, and unemployment are a constant. The programs of the YWCA strive to empower individuals and eliminate racism by meeting their clients where they are most vulnerable and providing the compassion and services that place them on a path to self-sufficiency, prosperity, and safety.
